As the two journey through the wilderness, a romantic and friendly bond forms, proving to be just the healing he was searching for.

But the peace of the trail is temporary. When Jabari returns to the Bull City, tensions between the police and the community have reached a breaking point. Will the trial he faces result in healing a divided city or deepen the wounds that threaten to tear it apart?
